Control 4 Lighting

Lighting up the city.

Tattu – a swanky addition to Manchester’s restaurant scene. This independent family run business founded in 2015 by brothers Adam and Drew Jones offers diners contemporary Oriental cuisine.

Tattu’s award-winning approach to interior design is evident at first glance. The high-end décor features rich brown leather, dark wood panelling and commissioned artwork housed in ornate gold frames. GBIS’s remit was to install and commission the lighting control throughout the whole restaurant and with lighting being the first step to creating the right ambience within a restaurant environment, GBIS knew that it was imperative to get this right, in time for the launch of this exciting eating establishment, where the owner’s intention was to take their diners on a sensory journey from traditional East to modern West.

Team GBIS rose to the occasion and did what they do best. With assiduous attention to detail, GBIS programmed over 100 lighting control circuits with over 5000 lamps using Control4 lighting control technology. The end result is a restaurant that has the capacity to wow the most demanding of diners. Featuring ambient lighting throughout that cleverly highlights key features and design pieces within the restaurant, guests can expect not just great food but a dining experience like no other.

The feature blossom tree is the centre piece and will change seasons throughout the day as the lighting canons change colour, all controlled and programmed by GBIS in-house lighting engineers.
